Topic : ” Attitude Control Method of Earth Observation Satellite for Precision Agriculture“

Abstract : Spatial resolution and time resolution are important factors for earth observation satellites to determine utility values of acquired images. For example, images whose spatial resolution is less than 10 m and time resolution is less than 1 time per week are useful for a precision agriculture to trace growing states of farm goods. As a basis of such a future satellite, a precision attitude control law, an image processing method, and a concept design strategy of a small satellite for the precision agriculture are studied in our laboratory. Outline of these researches is presented, and we hope to exchange opinions about user requirements of the satellites for the precision agriculture.
